Crawley 1 Carlisle 1

5th March 2013
19:45
Broadfield

Carlisle had to be content with a point at Crawley on Tuesday night having surrendered a lead at Broadfield.

Having failed to take a chance, that should have been taken, Carlisle did open the scoring as Jon-Paul McGovern (23) drove home a freekick from all of 40-yards at the midway point of the half.

Only a couple of Mark Gillespie saves kept Crawley at bay before the break though.

Crawley did draw level shortly after the break as Mat Sadler (56) drove home, with the hosts passing up a great chance to take the lead. However David Symington also went close for The Cumbrians, but was denied by Carlisle keeper Paul Jones so the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
