No Plans For Tranmere Inspection

No Plans For Tranmere Inspection

Crawley Town have their fingers crossed that tomorrow's game against Tranmere Rovers will go ahead as planned following further work to the pitch.

Following two pitch inspections ahead of the game against Carlisle that saw the game postponed, Crawley are again confident that we will suffer no such issues when Ronnie Moore's boys come to town.

There are no plans for a pitch inspection ahead of the 7.45pm kick off tomorrow night, and the playing surface is 'perfectly playable' after ground staff spent the last 48 hours working on the area of the pitch near the North Stand that played a big part in the Carlisle cancellation.

Some rain is however forecast, but it's not believed that it will cause problems, but the club will be monitoring things and the pitch covers will be called upon again.

Speaking to the Official Site manager John Gregory said of the efforts.

'The ground staff have worked very hard over the weekend on the areas that needed it and I have just walked on the pitch and it's fine. We are delighted to be back in action on Tuesday for what will be a tough game against Ronnie Moore's side.'
