Boss Praises His Troops

Boss Praises His Troops

The games have kept coming for Crawley over the past couple of months, Monday alone was the fourth game played in nine-days with Notts County ending a three-match winning run.

On average Crawley have been playing a game every three days for the past couple of month and on the whole it's been primarily the same players used in these games.

With several postponements a fixture pile up threatened to drag Crawley into the relegation zone but three wins on the spin made sure of another season of league one for Crawley with John Gregory disappointed at Easter Monday's defeat to Notts County but given the gruelling schedule he isn't going to be too harsh on his side.

The Crawley boss said: 'We've played 18 matches in the last 58 days, with almost the same faces.

'They have been incredible in the way they have gone about their jobs, to have got us into the healthy position we are in in the league. So I shouldn't be too hard on them.'
