Drury Going Nowhere

Drury Going Nowhere

Luton Town interest in Andy Drury had been played down by Crawley, but Luton boss John Still insisted that an approach for the midfielder had been made.

Chief executive Michael Dunford has now confirmed that the league 2 new boys have indeed been in touch with the club about Drury but insists that the player isn't for sale with the offer made rejected by the club.

Dunford told Red Player: 'We have rejected Luton's approach because we have absolutely no wish to sell Andy.

'He is an integral part of John Gregory's plans for next season and a very important member of our squad.'

We now know for sure that Luton did approach, we also know this has been rejected. We now have to wait and see if Luton come back with another approach and/or Drury makes it known he'd like to return to Kenilworth Road?

All being well that's the end of the matter and Drury hasn't been too unsettled by this....
