Banya Signs Second Short Extension

Crawley Town have today announced that Charles Banya has now signed an extension to his initial short term deal at the club.

The 20 year old former Fulham trainee initially signed a short deal following his impressive trial spell at the club and since then he has gone on to feature three times as a substitute for manager John Gregory who continues to be impressed with him.

The new extension he has now signed keeps him with us until the end of December and speaking to the Official Site ahead of tonight's game against Bradford the gaffer explained that having a little more long term security for him, should help him settle more and improve further as the club look at whether they should sign him until the end of the campaign.

'We're delighted to have Charles here for the next few months. He's a smashing kid who has really worked hard and made the most of his opportunity. In all three games he's made a positive difference for us, he works hard, can create things and he's a handful for defenders. He will be here until December and that gives him time to settle down and build on what he has already achieved.'
