Crawley snatched a dramatic late winner on Tuesday night at Broadfield as a much needed response, to the weekend thrashing, came.

With Walsall's visit destined to end in a nil-nil draw a last minute freekick ensured that it was us, and not the visitors, celebrating a 1-0 win.

Jamie Ashdown, handed a recall by John Gregory after being dropped for the Notts County game (which saw Brian Jensen beaten five times), justified his inclusion when he saved not once but twice, in fine fashion, from Romaine Sawyer in a matter of minutes.

Walsall had further chances, although a failure for any to be taken cost them.

Conor Henderson won us a last minute freekick, following a foul by Adam Chambers. From 25-yards Henderson (89) stepped up himself to strike a wonderful winner. Perhaps harsh on Walsall, but you often get punished for not taking chances.
