Walsall 5-0 Crawley - Report & Highlights

Walsall
5 - 0
Crawley

Bescot Stadium

14/04/15; 7:45pm

Attendance: 3,296

Referee:

Crawley were not only beaten on Tuesday we were absolutely battered by Walsall as they moved a step closer to another season in League 1, whilst pushing us towards relegation into League 2!

It was always going to be difficult at the Bescot Stadium with a patched up defence but a second half, in fact a final , capitulation saw us beaten five-nil....

Hiwula (16) beat Jensen early on to give Walsall the lead, which was taken into the half time break.

Shortly before the midway point of the second half Hiwula (65) curled in the second with Morris (67) grabbing the third just two-minutes later to seal our fate.

It got worse though in the final 10-minutes as a Taylor (81) effort was deflected past Jensen with Cook (90) coming off the bench to add a fifth at the death.

Defeat, with our goal-difference bad enough as it is, saw us drop back into the bottom four whereas Walsall are now seven-points clear of trouble.

Really? Can you have a 'MotM' from a five-nil thrashing! Probably not but we'll still try to find one so vote in the poll to your right.
